Assemblies of God-What Is True Revival / and video Sham Healings

Finally, the Assemblies of God Leadership has made a rather dramatic statement which can be seen on the video at the below link.  In essence, if the revival is centered on the person running the revival and not Jesus Christ, it isn't a true revival.

If the Bible is not taught as the Apostles did, it isn't a true revival.

If the focus is on angelic visitation and signs and wonders instead of Jesus Christ, and people coming to repentance and His saving grace ... it isn't a true revival.

Watch the video--its great!  Gives some very important points that anybody running to any revival needs to have understanding of...according to the Bible.

This is a video from an eye witness account, who actually followed up on claimed healings after Todd Bentely pronounced them healed. One man died 8 days later.

My friends, there are so many hurting in the world today; in need of love, healing, encouragement, financial blessings ... but All of our needs are supplied from God by Christ Jesus--not man. I pray that the world come to the place of submission to the Lord our God, to pray for discernment of spirits, and to be in relationship with God Almighty, instead of spending hard earned money on a hope of microwave whatever. I'm sure somebody has been to Lakeland that will say they were healed and I thank GOD for that. But this is truly a sham put on TV, endorsed by many who have done the same things. Your comments as always are welcomed--pro and disagree ... they are monitored only to keep out the spam of cell phone rings, and other ads. Otherwise, I have no problem allowing your comments to be printed.

I felt in my spirit, the Holy Spirit telling me to stay away from Lakeland. It broke my heart too, because so many close to me went and were all hyped about it.

One thing bothered me in particular... gold teeth. Now, if I asked the Lord to heal my broken leg? I would want a new REaL leg. Not an artificial leg. So why should it be any different with teeth? Wouldn't you expect the Lord to give you a REAL tooth to replace the bad one? Not a fake one? Just something that crossed my mind.

The other thing was that I hardly ever heard people talk about JESUS! Always this person, or that person... we need JESUS! And JESUS ALONE!

Praise the Lord!

Love you all!
